Review by hotel critic
I recently enjoyed a delightful stay at a charming small resort that perfectly balances modern comforts with traditional hospitality. The apartment was impeccably clean, and the air conditioning provided a welcome retreat from the summer heat, which can be quite intense in this region. I particularly appreciated the well-maintained garden, which offered a lovely view of Mt Etna, creating a peaceful atmosphere ideal for relaxation. Mornings started with delightful coffee and fresh croissants, accompanied by the friendly smiles of the family owners who genuinely made us feel at home. The location was convenient, with a large supermarket within walking distance, perfect for our self-catering needs. Being away from the main tourist areas allowed for a quieter experience, and the onsite reception was consistently helpful, offering tips for exploring nearby Sicilian sights. A suggestion for improvement would be adding more shaded areas on the patio, as it is primarily furnished with just a portable umbrella. It was a thoughtful blend of tradition and modernity that should appeal to many travelers.
